Manufactured with a standardCapacitor Discharge weld tip and flange, the CD Weld Pin ispopularly used as an insulation fastener, in combination with selflocking washers (or speed clips) to retain insulating material.Other applications of the weld pin replace weld studs, locator pinsor various types of metal fasteners. The unique capacitor dischargeweld tip and CD weld equipment for stud welding make this aneconomic and cost-saving metal fastener when stud welded inplace.
